The judges have chosen 14 finalists for the Letterhead Fonts 2009 Design Competition. It's a cliché, I know... with any contest, the judges always go on about how hard it was to choose. But with the number of quality designs, this year was
very difficult for
Charles,
Dave and
myself.
Each finalist design was chosen based on 3 criteria:
1) Appropriateness of the design
2) Creative use of our fonts
3) Layout and color
Thank you to everyone who took the time to submit your designs. Please don't be discouraged if your design did not make the cut. Any non-winning designs submitted in 2009 will also qualify for the 2010 Design Competition next December.
Here is the list of 14 finalists in no particular order. From this list, first, second and third place winners will be chosen. The 3 winners, along with honorable mentions, will be announced next week. Stay tuned...
